"Alongside my colleagues in the S&D group, I voted in favour of this report. The agreement on better law—making between the Council and this Parliament states that EU law should be updated and de-cluttered by repealing acts which are no longer applied. This regulation repeals two obsolete acts that are no longer in effect, but technically remain in force. It is a pure formality and aims at ensuring transparency and legal certainty, making sure that EU law is easier understood."@en1
