"Madam President, there are questions to answer over the largest ever property sale in the North of Ireland. The National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) was set up by the Irish Government to absorb toxic loans. It recently sold its portfolio in the North for a record EUR 1.3 billion to US investment giant Cerberus. There are allegations over millions paid for fixers’ fees, political access and sensitive commercial information. We need to know who got the money and what for. There is a paper trail showing that Joint First Minister Martin McGuinness was not kept in the loop. Sinn Féin will expose the dirty, underhand practices and support investigations into alleged misuse of public funds. The two former Stormont Finance Ministers, plus any other minister, politician or senior civil servant, including NAMA officials involved, should make themselves and all documentation available to the Finance Committee inquiry in the North and to the Public Accounts Committee in Dublin."@en1
