"I abstained on this resolution as a ‘best fit’. I support the principle of tightening up on financial rules to limit waste, mismanagement and fraud, and I commend the changes in that respect. Nevertheless, I cannot support much of the remaining text which supports current EU activities. I note in particular the positivity shown in the report towards the Common Security and Defence Policy."@en1
