lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, we in UKIP firmly believe in preserving the health and well-being of all citizens by guaranteeing transparency when it comes to the ingredients of the food they consume. We also think that it is important for companies involved in food production to have access to the information they require in order to label the final product, particularly in the case of allergens. However, we do not think that these issues should be regulated at an EU level, and we believe that Britain should have the autonomy to legislate in this domain. In addition to replacing existing legislation on caseins with a new EU directive, the Commission also seeks to align the powers of the Commission to adopt delegated or implementing acts with provisions introduced with the Lisbon Treaty. We in UKIP reject the Lisbon Treaty, which is an EU constitution in disguise, and we object to any more powers being transferred to the Commission."@en1
