lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report due to the fact that I am a firm believer that efficient governance at a local level is vital in order to achieve sustainable development and positive results. Good governance at a local level helps to manufacture conditions for inclusive and effective development processes. The quality of local governance is also related to the way local authorities manage and implement public policies and services on the basis of local policymaking processes and interactions with other public institutions, citizens and private sectors. Challenges which local communities face are more urgently and effectively solved when there is good governance at a local level, such as migration, rapid urbanisation, depletion of resources, public safety and violence, climate adaptation and mitigation and so forth."@en1
