It would therefore not be an appropriate use of the fund. It is vital to my constituents in Wales that we ensure that the European Union is as transparent and as accountable as possible, and that resources are allocated strictly on the basis of need. I regret that the UK Government does not allow access to this fund for communities in need in Wales."@en1
