lpv:spoken text	"This fund relates to DE/ADAM OPEL. The total budget for EGF for the period 2014 - 20 is EUR 1.05 billion. Germany has applied for EUR 6 958 625 to deal with 2692 redundancies. The blame factor is aimed at emerging markets and competitiveness in the world market. Small car sales have dropped by 25% from 2007/13 in EFTA nations. Personalised services such as careers advice and mobilisation have been mentioned relating to seeking other jobs. There is also a mention of business start-up grants to be given to the beneficiaries. The matter of concern relates to contracting out the personalised services, organisations that provide aid to those who have been made redundant are already in receipt of funding from other funding streams such as the ESF. If this is the factual case then why is the EU happily granting more funding to OPEL? Companies that are not competitive enough must not seek a bailout from the taxpayer to pay for redundancies.
