"The European Union’s Solidarity Fund is an emergency financial aid following disasters in Member States or candidate countries. Both Bulgaria and Greece have submitted applications to mobilise the Fund: Bulgaria for severe winter conditions and Greece has submitted two applications for flooding. I voted in favour of this reasonable request and I am delighted to see that many others joined me in this show of solidarity."@en1
