The substances 4,4'-DMAR and MT-45 are synthetic stimulants which have been linked to a number of deaths in the EU. They have been mis-sold on the illicit market as ecstasy and amphetamines. Given the risk to health involved, I support measures for these substances to be controlled at EU level."@en1
