lpv:spoken text	"The European Commission is preparing its update to the White Paper on Transport. This report is the EP’s input into this procedure. The report stresses that the mid-term review of the White Paper should maintain at least the level of ambition of the goals set in 2011. It contains a set of actions that need to be taken to achieve those goals. The report includes good initiatives, e.g. those to improve the energy-efficiency of transport, to promote public transport, the need to abolish environmentally harmful tax subsidies and prevent social dumping in transport sector Europe. It was for these reasons that I voted in favour of this report."@en1
