With as many as 75%-80% of Europeans are living in cities, it is imperative that we support the new model of multi-level governance, cross-sector and EU Commission coordination of urban related polices. We need to strongly support the environmental, transportation, educational and employment needs of urban areas in order to ensure they are attractive places to live and work and furthermore cater for the needs of different sectors and age groups in society across Member States."@en1
