lpv:spoken text	"While this report contained some positive merits specifically when it comes to investing in sustainable small-scale fisheries and socio-economic development, it failed to promote the more genuinely sustainable development of Guinea-Bissau’s fisheries sector and of related industries and activities, in particular small scale fisheries that greatly contribute to food security and local livelihoods. Moreover, it can be argued that the agreement does not go far enough in the context of securing and guaranteeing employment for local fishermen on-board EU vessels, it more or less states that opportunities for it employment should be exploited. Furthermore, while there is acknowledgment of the importance of gathering data on catches and conservation, there is not enough emphasis on the environment and conservation. It was for these reasons amongst others that I voted against this report."@en1
