lpv:spoken text	"President, I voted in favour of this report given the protocol concerned provides fishing opportunities for EU vessels in the exclusive economic zone of Guinea-Bissau within the limits of the available surplus. It aims to help the development of a sustainable fisheries policy and to promote the responsible exploitation of fishery resources. The Protocol is of great importance for Guinea-Bissau from a financial perspective and for the country’s economy, in particular for the fisheries sector and the development of the local fisheries industry. It provides for enhanced scientific and administrative cooperation, also with a view to combating IUU fishing."@en1
