The Corbett report evaluated the methods and procedures of the Commissioners-designate hearing process in 2014 with a view to improving the process next time. The primary concern with this report was the recommendation to change the system I for evaluation of the Commissioners-designate, specifically the deletion of the possibility for a political group to request a vote in committee on the recommendation of the candidate. I supported an amendment that included the possibility for a political group to request a vote in committee on the recommendation of the candidate in the new evaluation system. As this was not passed, I voted against this report."@en1
