lpv:spoken text	"This report supports the deletion of the Maritime Management exception and amends the Commission’s proposal on the indigenous community’s exception taking into account their right to self-determination and ILO Convention No 169. The Convention determines the indigenous peoples’ right to traditional lifestyles, culture and making a living. I supported the new text to this report as it brings the EU into conformity with its international obligations and allows seal products resulting from hunts conducted by Inuit and other indigenous communities to still be placed on the EU market."@en1
