"I supported this Parliament Own Initiative Report as natural resources need to be used more efficiently. This Own Initiative calls on the Commission to review legislation such as the Eco-design Directive and submit a new proposal on waste legislation. Moving towards a circular economy by increasing resource productivity by 30% by 2030 could boost the EU’s GDP by nearly 1% and create an extra 2 million sustainable jobs."@en1
