"I voted in favour of this resolution because it sends an important message on the need to fight tax evasion and tax avoidance in developing countries. We know that a small increase in tax revenues in developing countries would dwarf the amount of aid they receive. Domestic resources and international finance both form important pillars of the new global development framework after 2015. It is vital that multinational companies pay their fair share of tax in developing countries."@en1
