Shareholders should be able to know where their companies make profits and crucially where taxes are paid. In order to have certainty that the company is paying its correct share of tax, shareholders need to understand the health and the prospects of the company they are investing in. As such, public country-by-country reporting for major international companies would represent an important step forward."@en1
