lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the Gardiazabal Rubial report given that draft amending budget no 1 creates the budgetary structure that will make European Funds for Strategic Investments possible. If the UK Government is ready to grasp this opportunity, it will create many billions of pounds-worth of investment into the UK economy; investments in infrastructure, SMEs and green growth. I welcome the agreement that no fresh money will be used, which proves the Commission is serious about its commitment to do more with less. I am, however, disappointed that despite improvements which I have been pushing for, some of the funds are still taken from a heading that covers competitiveness for growth and jobs, including Horizon 2020, and I encourage the Commission to find more money from other headings to reinforce this area which is vital for our economy."@en1
