lpv:spoken text	"This report seeks to identify ways of removing barriers to the purchasing of single multi-modal tickets for transport, both domestically and across borders. The report highlights many of the difficulties facing the provision of such services across the EU. Nonetheless, a number of concerns meant we were unable to vote in favour in TRAN. The report calls for the equipping of all forms of local transport with intelligent systems relaying real-time information by 2020. This would have severe cost implications, particularly for small and rural bus operators, and serve as a barrier to new entrants onto the UK bus market. Moreover, the report calls for a set of multi-modal EU passenger rights. We fear this would have the unintended consequence of small local and regional bus/rail operators being held liable for large sums of compensation in case of missed medium or long-haul connections."@en1
