The report is seeking to promote a shift towards the use of public transport, including options such as bike hire, park-and-ride and car sharing. The report included a number of important provisions such as fair, inclusive and equal access to free or low-cost online services for all travellers. Furthermore, it sought to ensure that clear and transparent protections of passengers’ rights were applicable for all transport modes. It was for these reasons that I voted in favour of the Report."@en1
