"Madam President, under Rule 162(8), President Schulz cancelled the blue cards in the last debate on TTIP. The only justification for that in the Rules of Procedure is disruption of a debate, and there was no threat of that. It seems absolutely clear to me that the powers that be are determined we will not have a proper debate on TTIP. There will be no discussion. We are now given just part of the morning for a series of pre-prepared, sterile statements. You will not listen to the Greek people, you will not listen to the hundreds of thousands of British people who have written to us on this subject, and you will not listen to the European people, so please do not misuse the Rules of Procedure in this way again to stifle debate."@en1
