lpv:spoken text	"This report is concerned with providing provisions which would enable the Commission to progress with its role as a facilitator and coordinator of European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) applications and the results of such applications. The EGF was established to support workers who have been made redundant in EU Member States as a result of the adverse effects of globalisation This Fund plays a vital role in ameliorating what is a very distressing situation for workers who have found their whole livelihoods placed into disarray. In what is often a very harrowing situation, it is important to focus on positive and constructive options which are available. It was for these reasons that I voted in favour of this report."@en1
