lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the regulation for a European Fund for Strategic Investments given it is an important opportunity to boost investment in the EU. It should focus on long-term investment in infrastructure that is geared up for the future. Therefore it is crucial that the right projects are selected in areas such as renewable energy and the digital market. Furthermore, I welcome the fact that the fund will also focus on investment in the creative industry. On the financing side of the Fund however, I am still concerned that an important part will be taken out of Horizon 2020, cutting into the EU budget for research and development. I am also concerned about the fact that the Fund will be limited in time, and I hope this will not affect its effectiveness."@en1
