Member States can set their own tax levels – that is for Member States themselves to do – but it is the fact that money crosses borders, etc. which is the core of the issue. That is what leads to tax evasion. We do need to deal with it at European level, but I do not think we can neglect – and we should not neglect – the global issue as well."@en1
