lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this resolution as I believe greater transparency and accountability are needed in the governing of football. Football plays a huge role in the lives of many people, including many of my constituents, and they expect better when it comes to the operation of their sport. Hosting the World Cup is not only a political badge of honour but draws the world’s attention, and a lot of its money, to the host nation. As we have seen, the lure of the World Cup has led to a worldwide scandal of corruption in football, implicating politicians and FIFA itself. It is therefore beyond the right time for the international community to demand better standards of FIFA and the processes it uses to allocate the host countries of its premier competition."@en1
