lpv:spoken text	"Sepp Blatter should step down immediately and be replaced by an interim leader, the Qatar 2022 decision should be re-run and the World Cup should only be held in countries that are respectful of fundamental human and social rights. This resolution on FIFA underlines the utmost importance of the investigation by the Swiss and US justice systems into the decision by FIFA’s Executive Committee to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively. The Commission, in coordination with Member States and in cooperation with Interpol, Europol and Eurojust, must take all appropriate measures to tackle any possible indication of corruption on the part of FIFA officials on EU territory. Corruption and high-level scandals also corrode the public’s trust in the integrity of sport and our national authorities must not look away when there are human rights abuses associated to sporting events, as is the case with the widespread reports of egregious labour abuses in Qatar."@en1
