"I supported the 2014 Progress Report on Turkey. I believe we need to take a positive, measured response in our approach to Turkey. In this context I supported the proposal to widen the Customs Union to include agricultural products, services and public procurement and to create favourable conditions for continued growth in trade including the facilitation of visas for business travellers. I supported the removal of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) from the EU list of terrorist organisations: this, I believe, is a reasonable and progressive stance. I also supported the vote which referenced the centenary of the Armenian genocide."@en1
