lpv:spoken text	"I am in favour of this joint motion for a resolution. As the report casts doubt on OLAF’s effectiveness in protecting the Union’s financial interests, it is imperative that Parliament deal urgently with the issue. The Supervisory Committee must be able to fulfil its role. Parliament has already called, in resolutions on the 2011 and 2013 annual reports on the protection of the EU’s financial interests, for an improvement in the committee’s ability to fulfil its mandate. The fight against fraud and corruption is of the utmost importance. It is regrettable that the Supervisory Committee is unable to carry out its duties due to a lack of access to information, and it is very worrying if the figures supplied by OLAF are in doubt. I welcome the proposals for the Commission to facilitate a better, more constructive dialogue between OLAF and its Supervisory Committee."@en1
