"I, along with my Labour Party colleagues, voted in favour of this report to maintain a strong stance against Russia, but also to send a strong message to President Putin that active re-engagement and stepping back from isolation is the most constructive means to progress.
In the report, Labour MEPs helped secure important amendments on LGBTI rights – calling out the government for failing to address anti-LGBTI violence and anti-LGBTI legislation – and support for civil organisations in Russia."@en1
