"I voted in favour of this report. Mutual assistance in criminal matters provides EU countries with valuable tools in the fight against serious organised crime and cross-border offences. It is a matter of extreme concern that, at the very moment Croatia is acceding to this Convention, the UK is led by a government intent on ending EU cooperation and ripping up the European Convention on Human Rights."@en1
