lpv:spoken text	"I support the recommendation that the agreement in relation to the Doha Amendment to the Kyoto Protocol between the European Union and Iceland should be concluded as soon as possible. As Iceland already participates in the EU Emissions Trading System and the EU Monitoring Mechanism Regulation for greenhouse gases, the conclusion of the agreement with Iceland with regard to the second commitment period for the Kyoto agreement would send a strong signal that Europe is leading the way in pursuing a global solution to climate change. This should also act as encouragement for countries to take a similar approach in the lead—up to the Paris COP21 Conference in December."@en1
