lpv:spoken text	"We need to provide a renewed focus on where the common security and defence policy (CSDP) can best contribute to global security, by using a comprehensive approach to tackling conflict and by complementing NATO, which is the cornerstone of European defence. We support initiatives that could improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of CSDP actions. However, we do not agree with proposals asking for an increase in common funding for military actions, duplicating of the work of NATO, or interfering in what should be Member State or industry-driven activity. I therefore voted against it."@en1
