lpv:spoken text	"I broadly support this report on the whole. An effective and credible European security and defence policy is the foundation of our citizens’ well-being and welfare. We need to provide a renewed focus on where CSDP can best contribute to global security, through a full cycle approach to tackling conflict, as well as using a comprehensive approach and complementing NATO, which is the cornerstone of European defence. However, the report offers ideas which could duplicate the work of NATO or interfere in what should be Member State or industry—driven activity. I therefore abstained on the final vote."@en1
