lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted in favour of the Zwiefka report, as I believe we reached a balanced outcome. It is very positive that we updated this legislation after 10 years of its being in force. The regulation covers 50 000 companies which are yearly involved in cross-border insolvency procedures. It is important for them that we clarified the rules on jurisdiction of the courts, the recognition of judgments and the applicable law in these cases, and I consider the extension of the scope of the rules to hybrid procedures and company restructuring as an important step forward. I also welcome the introduction of the additional criterion of a three-month cooling-off period in order to avoid forum shopping."@en1
