lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I gave my support to the regulation on information accompanying transfers of funds, given that we need stronger measures to tackle tax avoidance and fraud. This means establishing public registers to increase transparency on the financial flux and have better protection at EU level for whistleblowers, given that we are almost completely dependent on them to alert us on the cases of fraud or where taxpayers’ money is abused. We also need a coordinated response from the law enforcement bodies in the Member States and a standardised procedure for financial institutions and payment service providers to combat money laundering. It is simply unacceptable that billions and billions of euros simply continue to fall through the cracks every year."@en1
