lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, I voted in favour of the report on the Anti-Money Laundering Directive, given that it provides a crucial tool in the fight against tax avoidance and fraud, and can play a vital role in cutting off a funding stream to terrorists. Therefore, the more transparency we can have, the better. By setting up public registers we increase transparency on the financial flux. However, as the recent tax scandals show, we remain heavily dependent on the action of whistleblowers working in the business, so we need to convince these whistleblowers to reveal cases of tax avoidance and tax fraud, because Member States are often not willing to do so. We need to have a follow-up step of having a European framework to protect them."@en1
