"Comprehensive measures are needed for the EU to achieve its climate change targets, and I am pleased to see SMEs being considered as part of these measures. Green growth and SMEs are vital for future innovation and economic prosperity in light of the depletion of natural resources and climate change itself. With improved regulation being of considerable importance to SMEs, I am also pleased to see that these proposals are business focused. The Conservative Party always champions small businesses whilst striving to conserve and protect the environment."@en1
