The resolution could have included clearer references to the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, more positive references to principles of agro-ecology, problems with food distribution and the protection of traditional markets in developing countries. Nonetheless, as the resolution sends a strong political signal of the European Parliament’s concerns regarding food and farming worldwide I voted in favour."@en1
