We have called on the Vice-President of the Commission / High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy to take appropriate action at political level, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 2199 of 12 February 2015, in order to put an end to the illegal trade in cultural property from the territories of Syria and Iraq during periods of conflict in those territories, thereby preventing the use of such property as a source of financing."@en1
