"I welcome the approval of the report on the Application of Articles 107 and 108 TFEU to certain categories of horizontal state aid. The Commission has already been given the power to adopt regulations to declare that certain categories of aid are compatible with the internal market and as such do not need to be notified under Art 108(3) TFEU, including aid in favour of SMEs, research and innovation, environmental protection, employment and training, natural disaster recovery etc."@en1
