lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report. This report sought to look for solutions as to how to reduce the consumption of lightweight plastic carrier bags. The excessive consumption of plastic bags in the EU is a matter of serious concern and as plastic bags tend to be used on a once-off basis, this results in unnecessary and preventable waste. Every year nearly 100 billion plastic bags are used and it is projected that this figure will grow to 111 billion plastic bags by 2020 if no action is taken. For these reasons, I voted in favour."@en1
