"Today I voted in favour of the package on the Fuel Quality Directive and Renewable Energy Directive. If we do not step up to the plate, the overarching challenge Europe faces is the continent being technologically overtaken regarding sustainable fuels. This is something we cannot afford – regardless of where we find ourselves on the political map. Not being on par with the challenges would mean the end of a greener Europe, as well as a more jobs-friendly Europe and a more investment-friendly Europe."@en1
