At the last part-session, I asked you whether Ms Janice Atkinson had been expelled from the EFDD Group, because in the United Kingdom UKIP is saying they have expelled her from their party. The Chair of the EFDD Group at the last part-session said: ‘Ah, she has been suspended’. But Rule 32 makes no provision for suspending a Member; you either are a member of a political group, or you are not a member of a political group. It would appear that while UKIP in the UK is saying they have dealt with this Member who is accused of fraud, here they are secretly keeping her in their group in order to obtain the benefits of having a slightly larger group. Is it possible for you to do something about this hypocrisy?"@en1
