I am deeply concerned by the rise of anti-Gypsyism manifested through violent attacks against Roma in Europe. Anti-Gypsyism constitutes a major obstacle to the successful social integration of Roma and to ensuring full respect for their human rights. I believe the European Parliament plays a key role in calling on the Commission to develop a European Roma Strategy."@en1
