lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the resolution adopted on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide to pay tribute to the one-and-a-half million innocent Armenian victims who perished in the Ottoman Empire. I welcome the statements of Turkish president Erdoğan and prime minister Davutoğlu offering their condolences and recognising atrocities against the Ottoman Armenians. This is a step in the right direction, and I now encourage Turkey to use this commemoration as an opportunity to come to terms with its past and recognise the Armenian genocide, which is crucial for achieving genuine reconciliation between the people of Turkey and Armenia."@en1
