As a UKIP MEP, I believe that systems would be far more efficient if we were not in the European Union, and I cannot support the measures proposed for the collection of own resources. I note that a Financial Transaction Tax, which would disproportionately harm the British economy, is also proposed. Consideration of international taxation is better done by the OECD than by the European Union. This report has very little to commend it, and I had no hesitation in voting against."@en1
