I did this because, while I fully understand that the resolution offered a compromise between different political groups on the situation in Venezuela, and while I am aware of the dire situation in that country, I felt that overall the resolution offered a very partial picture of developments. In particular, its coverage of the position of regional-level actors and their views on current developments in Venezuela was incomplete and gave, in my view, an inaccurate impression."@en1
