According to scientific advice sea bass in the Celtic Sea, Channel, Irish Sea and southern North Sea suffers from a rapid decline that risks leading to a collapse if no action is taken. The current fishing mortality is almost four times as high as the stock can sustain. I therefore strongly support the resolution calling for Union management measures for commercial and recreational fisheries based on precise evaluation and scientific data."@en1
