A very positive process has developed through single market hovernance within the European Semester and the corresponding country-specific recommendations for a more competitive Europe. Single market governance generates quality jobs with equitable growth while better attracting investors. It must be emphasised that the single market strategy requires a holistic approach taking into account citizens’, consumers’ and SMEs’ concerns. Projecting single market priorities into all policy areas would ensure the completion of a viable single market serving as a catalyst for economic recovery and sustainable growth."@en1
